Come Eat at My Table

(What a Difference a Year Makes)

By Ruth O’Neil

Karin is a woman with a past. About the time she thinks no one will ever know, it comes back to haunt her. The deeper she tries to push it away the more prominently it returns. Forgiveness is a word that isn’t in her vocabulary as far as the people from her past are concerned. She thinks she’s fine until someone from her past shows up unexpectedly forcing her to think about what happened. With the help of her family and other people around her she realizes that she must learn to forgive, even if forgiveness wasn’t asked of her.

Reminiscing is one similarity. Come Eat at My Table is a lot about dealing with your past, even if the reminiscing isn’t so fun.

The Firethorn Crown

(Firethorn Chronicles Book 1)

By Lea Doué

The crown is her strength. The crown is her weakness.

Princess Lily, the eldest of twelve sisters and heir to a mighty kingdom, desperately seeks a break from her mother’s matchmaking. Tradition forbids marriage with the man Lily loves, so she would rather rule alone than marry someone who only wants the crown.

Fleeing an overzealous suitor, Lily stumbles into a secret underground kingdom where she and her sisters encounter a mysterious sorcerer-prince and become entangled in a curse that threatens the safety of her family and her people. Lily can free them, but the price for freedom may be more than she’s willing to pay.

The Firethorn Crown, a re-imagining of The Twelve Dancing Princesses, is the first novel in The Firethorn Chronicles, a series inspired by fairy tales and other classic stories. Follow the sisters on their adventures in a land where sorcery is feared, women can rule, and dragons fly.

About the Author

N A CauldronN. A. Cauldron grew up on the outskirts of modern Cupola. As a young child, she enjoyed listening to the tales told of Cupolian’s history. This ultimately led to a successful career as a research historian and her recent authorship of historical fiction.

She is an avid herbologist, and spends her free time hunting out and collecting rare herbs for her potion making. She is especially fond of the snaggled tooth humpmoss, and has been known to spend weeks at a time on fungal expeditions.

Although Ms Cauldron is currently spending her time attempting to acquiesce to earth’s society, her roots and permanent home will always remain in Cupola. She is currently studying earthly children’s literature and plans to contribute to its volumes upon finishing her historical works on the Cupolian time period known as the Magical Revolution.
