Cranberry Bluff

By Deborah Garner

Molly Elliott’s quiet life in Tallahassee, Florida, is disrupted when routine errands land her in the wrong place at the wrong time: the middle of a bank robbery. Accused and cleared of the crime, she flees both media attention and mysterious, threatening notes, to move across the country to Cranberry Cove, where she has inherited her Aunt Maggie’s bed and breakfast on the Northern California coast. Her new beginning is peaceful – that is, until five guests show up at the inn for a weekend, each with a hidden agenda.

Mix together one blushing honeymoon couple, one flamboyant boutique owner, a deadpan traveling salesman, and a charmingly handsome novelist, and there’s more than scones cooking at Cranberry Cottage Bed and Breakfast. As true motives become apparent, will Molly’s past come back to haunt her or will she finally be able to leave it behind?

The Envisage

By M.M. Warren

Without early memories or a family to tell her who she is, Andelyn instinctively knows that her life is in constant flux because she is hiding from someone dangerous and impossible to identify. When strangers kidnap her, Andelyn’s only way to escape is on an abandoned boat that rushes her through a secret underground river passage leading to Meridia, a mysterious land hidden inside the earth.

Buried deep within the walls of the palace there, Andelyn discovers a legend about the Envisage: a person with the uncanny power to save or destroy Meridia with their thoughts. But why doesn’t anyone seem to know who the Envisage is, and why are they so afraid to find out?

With the unresolved mystery of who she was running from in the first place, Andelyn begins to wonder if all of this could have something to do with her. Is she hiding from this Envisage that people seem so afraid to speak of? And why?

This much is clear: sometimes you risk more than your own fate when you find out who you are, especially if what you should have feared most is what you are capable of—and especially if fear changes everything.
