Special Novel Ties - Serendipitously Find Your Next Book

SpecialNovelTies.com Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does this site use cookies? Yes. And other types of digital tracking devices. Please see the privacy policy for more information.
  • Is it free to have my book included on this site? Yes. Earl Chinnici, operator of SpecialNovelTies.com, is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. When people find books to buy via this site, Earl Chinnici earns a referral fee. This does not affect the amount of the purchase in any way. In addition, Earl Chinnici might also earn money by displaying third-party advertisements on this site.
  • How do I request that my book is included on this site? When I tweet a new book and yours is a great “tie,” retweet my tweet & tell me why. Use #TieMyBook to request inclusion on this site. Please see the submissions page for more info.
  • What if I want my book listing removed? You may request, for any reason, to have your book listing removed from this site. However, to maintain the flow of ties, the post that bears the title of your book will not be deleted and the title will not be altered. Instead, a large notice (roughly the size of the book covers here) that your book is no longer available from this site will replace the content of your listing. The mention of your book by the next author to “tie one on,” also cannot be altered.
  • What is with the strange name? When I first created the domain specialnovelties.com years ago, I wasn’t an author. I’d planned to establish a store that specialized in unique items from around the world, but never put in the effort. I know it seems nearly redundant, but I hoped the name “Special Novelties” might be silly enough to catch on. Now that I’m an author with many friends who are also authors, I hope the same for “Special Novel Ties.”
